Ibanez Rocket Roll RR1000 1985

The RR1000 is a Rocket Roll series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1985. It was made in Japan as part of the X series of pointy guitars.

The RR1000 features a vee-shaped basswood body mated to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid triangle position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez V5 humbucking pickups mounted in gold pickup rings, a Pro Rock’r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, knurled metal Tek Grip knobs and Smooth Tuner II machine heads. The RR1000 features a brass pickguard covering the control cavity and another brass plate on the upper horn. Offered only in Japan and produced only in 1985.
